Hääääää? :shock: :mrgreen: Wie meinst Du das ? Im Programm ist ein RvProject und eine RvDataSet Connection auf der Form. In Rave kann ich das alles auch zuordnen !

Du speicherst im raveDesigner das Project und mußt es in Delphi als Projectfile angeben.

Danke Keldorn, das wars. Wen es interessiert : bei der Komponente RvProject im Delphi-Programm muß der Ort der RAV-Datei im OI eingetragen werden. Allerdings taucht jetzt noch eine kleine Nebenfrage auf. Wird der Report, also die RAV-Datei, automatisch in die EXE eingelinkt, oder muß da auch noch was eingestellt werden ?

Nein, wird er nicht. 2 Varianten: 1. Du mußt die .rav-Datei mitgeben (da kommt man aber sicher besser, man stellt das Projectfile im code ein und paßt das verzeichnis an). 2. Storerav-Eigenschaft des rvprojects, dann wird das Rave-project mit in die exe integriert, wenn du dein raveproject im designer änderst und die neue Exe weitergeben willst, mußt du auch jedesmal die Storerav-eigenschaft aktualisieren.

StoreRave des RvProject steht auf "none" und wenn ich die 3 Punkte anklicke öffnet sich ein Dialog-Fenster und da steht : "Datei, die in die EXE eincompiliert wird : RvProject1". Dann wird es wohl so sein, daß die RAV-Datei default-mäßig in der EXE schon drin ist, oder nicht ?

Dein rave-project wird erst mit in die exe genommen, wenn du dort auf "load" klickst.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit in StorRav einen relativen Pfad anzugeben und dafür zu sorgen, daß die dort vorhandene *.rav automatisch in die neue .Exe reinCompiliert wird?

hmmmm, durch das load wird die rav einfach als raveBlob im Formular persistent gespeichert;
wenn Du es dynamisch willst, schau dir einmal Nr. 2.4.1 aus dem RaveFAQ (seit Rave6 in der RaveDevGuide.pdf)

1. Use the external RAV-file. Requires that you define it in the TRaveProject-component.

Be alert that if you select the RAV-file in the Delphi-IDE, then Delphi will store the complete

Go to your RvProject component and select the "StoreRav" property. Click on the ellipse

NOTE: with Rave 5.0.4 or earlier, the form that contains the RvProject must NOT be set to
"text" format. To change it, go to the form that contains the RvProject-component.
Right-click on the form and be sure that the Delphi DFM format is not set as "Text Format".
3. Store the Rave-file inside a Resource-file, BLOB-Field or in a DLL like the following:
