Host -> IP

hoi,

gibt es eine api funktion mit der ich eine dns in eine IP umgewandelt bekomme?

also ich habe z.b "irc.euirc.net"....ich brauche aber die IP dieses hostes.

jemand ne idee?

gethostbyname(), aber vermutlich bietet die Indy dazu eine Kompo an...

hallo muetze, ich erstelle gerade eine eigene irc kompo abgeleitet von TComponent. Also indy benutz ich nicht 8)
