how to use stepper motor

Arduino newbie here   Confused

I am taking over a project involving moving an object using a threaded actuator rod. We're currently using a Usongshine 4 Lead NEMA-17 Bipolar Stepper Motor, but the project requires that we replace the stepper motor with one designed for UHV and I have the AML D42.3 in mind.

I want to use an Arduino Mega 2560 to control the UHV stepper motor. I'm thinking it would be a pretty straight forward replacement of the current Usongshine motor, but I'm unsure about driving the motor with the Arduino.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!
