Userpfad für mehrere Nutzer
Hallo,
ich möchte ein Programm schreiben, wo unter verschiedenen Nutzeranmeldungen das selbe Programm genutzt werden kann. Dazu gehören auch noch die Daten. Bei einer Einzelanwendung habe ich immer CSIDL_APPDATA genutzt, aber da hat ja ein anderer User keinen Zugriff. Welches Verzeichnis kann ich nutzen, wo alle User schreiben und lesen dürfen? Bei den nachfolgenden Konstanten bin ich nicht weitergekommen. Unter Windows 7 gibts den "User" Default, unter dem z.B. Einträge im Startmenü für alle User eintragen kann.

Ist nicht der korrekte Pfad für Programmdaten aller benutzer CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data)...?
CSIDL_COMMON_DOCUMENTS bezieht sich ja auf den Pfad der Dokumente (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents), nicht auf Programmdaten. Anbei noch eine Liste der ganzen Konstanten inklusive Erklärungen, vielleicht hilft sie ja:

Jetzt verwirrt mich wieder alles.
Ich möchte einige Daten für alle User zugänglich machen. Diese sollen auch ohne Adminrechte geändert werden können. Das Progamm an sich wird direkt im Programmpfad installiert. Das könnte eine gemeimsame Registrierungsdatei sein oder aber auch Daten, die der ein oder andere User auslesen will oder auch eintragen will. |

CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA ist der richtige Ort für Programm-Daten, die für alle Benutzer gleichermaßen verfügbar sind.
Allerdings ist das Verzeichnis per Standard ohne Schreibrechte für Nicht-Admin-Benutzer. Wenn auch von allen Benutzern Dateien verändert werden dürfen / müssen, dann hat das Installations-Programm dafür zu sorgen, den angelegten Unterordner in CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA mit den entsprechenden Rechten zu versehen. Das gleiche (keine Schreibrechte für nicht-Admins per Standard) gilt übrigens auch für CSIDL_COMMON_DOCUMENTS, nur dass das der falsche Ort für Programmdaten ist. Genau so wie oben beschrieben ist es auch von Microsoft vorgesehen: Zitat:

CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA oder CSIDL_COMMON_DOCUMENTS welches ist nun das richtige Verzeichnis?
Das hängt _meiner_ Meinung nach von der Art der Daten ab, die dort gespeichert werden. CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA ist ein verstecktes Verzeichnis, das normale User also nicht zu sehen bekommen. Sollen also zum Beispiel User mit Hilfe eines Opendialogs Daten holen, sind diese Daten für normale User in diesem Verzeichnis nicht greifbar. Es empfiehlt sich hier also Daten abzuspeichern, die von deinem Programm direkt gelesen werden (zb.: Verbindungseinstellungen zu Datenbanken, Pfadeinstellungen, ...) In CSIDL_COMMON_DOCUMENTS gehören Daten wie zb. Reports, Dokumentenvorlagen, ... die User während der Arbeit laden, verändern und speichern können sollen. In beiden Ordnern haben aber Userspezifische Einstellungen wie Fensterpositionen, zuletzt geladene Dokumente, Skineinstellungen, Userspezifische Menu- oder Toolbareinstellungen nichts zu suchen. Diese gehören definitiv ins spezifische Userprofil. |
