Fehler beim Installieren von Delphi 2007

Hallo zusammen!

Vorab ein gutes Jahr 2010 für uns alle!

Bei der Installation von Delphi 2009 Prof habe ich das Problem, dass nach dem Start der Installation, die Windows_Install Meldung

'' is not a valid integer value.

angezeigt wird; dannach erscheint zwar noch ein Delphi Bildschirm, aber die Installtion läuft nicht weiter [Betriebssystem Win XP Prof (SP3)]. Da ich nicht weiter kam, habe ich mit dem Delphi Support telefoniert, bekam aber die Antwort, dass es wohl an meinem Windows liegt... Die Installation von Delphi 7 Prof war problemlos - alles läuft.

Heute abend hab ich nun versucht, Delphi 2009 auch auf meinem Win7 Ultimate PC (32-Bit) zu installieren ... :gruebel: der gleiche Fehler!

Leider habe ich bei Google und hier im Forum noch nichts zur Lösung gefunden.

Kennt jemand dieses Verhalten - und hat vielleicht sogar eine Lösung??

Warning:
Please, make sure you know what are you doing with every registry key, always look up for the right resources because wrong solution will cause side effect problem.
