Delphi 7, Vista und Jedi? Hat das schon jemand geschafft?

Also ich habe gestern mal auf ein frisch installiertes Vista, mein heiss geliebtes Delphi7 gezogen, was sich mit etwas Handarbeit auch installieren und benutzen lässt.

Was ich aber um die Burg nicht hinbekomme, ist die JediTools (JCL und JVCL) zum laufen/installieren zu bekommen. Hat das von Euch schon jemand geschafft? Wenn ja wie?

Das Hauptproblem dürfte wohl durch UAC bedingt sein, da der Installer wie wild in allen möglichen Verzeichnissen umeinander schreibt, was er nicht darf.

Das ist nicht hilfreich. Wenn wir die Probleme loesen sollen dann brauchen wir dazu detaillierte Informationen.
Ich glaube nicht das die wenigen JCL/JVCL-Entwickler schon Vista haben. Ich jedenfalls habe es nicht.

Starte mal (als Admin) über das Startmenü eine Kommandozeile via Rechtsklick -> "Als Administrator ausführen". Und dann starte die Installation aus dieser Kommandozeile mit erhöhten Privilegian (damit bekommen auch alle aus der Kommandozeile gestarteten Prozesse erhöhte Privilegien - ohne UAC die selbst beim Administrator nochmal nachfragt).

Mal die frischeste Daily ziehen. An JclDebug und den Experten dazu ist gerade gearbeitet worden.

Fuer die JVCL auch hier schauen http://obones.free.fr/jvcl_daily/ denn es gibt immer wieder mal Probleme bei der automatischen Erstellung der Zips.
