DDevExtensions ist eine Sammlung von Delphi/C++Builder IDE Funktionen die einem das Arbeiten mit der IDE erleichtern. Das IDE Plugin fügt der IDE nicht nur neue Funktionalität hinzu, es behebt auch ein paar IDE Fehler und verfeinert manche IDE Funktionen.

Für Delphi 5, 6, 2005, 2006 steht die Version 1.6 zur Verfügung. Neuere Versionen wird es dafür nicht mehr geben.

Es gibt eine neue Version von DDevExtensions. Die Version 1.9 ist exklusiv für Delphi/C++Builder 2009. Diese und kommende Versionen werden nur noch Delphi 2009 und neuer unterstützen. Der Quellcode ist bereits von den hunderten von IFDEFs bereinigt. Da macht das Arbeiten an DDevExtensions auch mal wieder Spaß, wenn man nicht bei jeder Zeile nachdenken muss, ob die älteren IDEs das auch können. Wer noch eine ältere Delphi Version hat kann die Version 1.6 nutzen (die ich eben hochgeladen habe)

Der Installer meckert beim Kopieren der Dateien vom Temp-Verz. in den DDevExtensions Ordner.
Ich habe dann die Dateien von Hand kopiert und via GExperts registriert.

Vielleicht solltest du Delphi vor dem installieren von DDevExtensions beenden

Delphi war natürlich nicht am Laufen.

Ein kleines Problem erscheint bei mir in Verbindung mit Delphi 2009. Es ist sicherlich leicht zu lösen (im schlimmsten Fall durch verschlucken).

Beim Start von Delphi 2009 erscheint folgende Exception:

Dieser Fehler tritt nur auf, wenn die IDE ein Projekt beim Start lädt. (Environment Options->Autosave Options->Projekt Desktop)
Das deaktivieren aller Optionen der DDevExtentions und das deaktivieren aller anderen Experten (cnWizards, MMX) änderte nichts am Verhalten.

Nichtsdestotrotz habe ich jetzt um den "BasePasProjOpts.TProjectOptions.GetOptionValu e" Aufruf einen try/except Block gesetzt.

Ich schiebe es auch auf einen IDE Bug (davon gibt es ja einige). StrToInt sollte als "deprecated" gekennzeichnet und stattdessen StrToIntDef/TryStrToInt benutzt werden.
Das gleiche Verhalten zeigt sich übrigens auch bei neuen Projekten und Neustart der IDE.

So die ProjectSettings sind jetzt gänzlich entfernt, womit der EConvertError nicht mehr auftreten kann. Ich habe auch gleich noch ein Paar Bugfixes und ein Paar Neuerungen eingebaut.

Jetzt gibt es die Version 1.9.1 auch offiziell.

Änderungen:

• Behoben: "Unit nutzen" Dialog: "Generics.Collections" wurde als "Collections" zur USES Anweisung hinzugefügt
• Behoben: Die ProjectSettings Funktion ist nun gänzlich entfernt, dadurch tritt "'' ist kein gültiger Integerwert" nicht mehr auf
• Neu: "Versioninfo setzen" ermöglicht nun das Ändern der Felder "CompanyName" und "LegalCopyright"
• Neu: Die ComponentSelector-Toolbar ist wieder da, ist aber standardmäßig ausgeschaltet
