D7 Personal mit JEDI

Ist es schon mal jemandem gelungen, die JEDI-Komponenten, die sich in
JVCL310CompleteJCL196-Build2070.7z (von SourceForge, heute frisch per Analog-Modem in 45 Minuten blitzschnell heruntergelanden) befinden, mit Delphi 7 *Personal* zum Laufen zu bringen?

Habe inzwischen auch schon die "manuelle Installation" mehrfach durchprobiert und D7PE zumindest soweit gebracht, daß es das Projekt (JVCL package group file (bpg)) kompiliert, indem ich aus der bpg-Datei einige Zeilen herauslöschte, die sich auf DB-Komponenten bezogen.

Danach soll ich per Rechtsklick auf die *.D7D im Projekt-Manager die Sachen installieren (können). Schön wär's, von da an hagelt es nur noch Fehlermeldungen, sinngemäß:

"Die Dynamic Link Library Jv....bpl wurde nicht im angegebenen Pfad... gefunden."

Was auch stimmt, die angegebene Jv...bpl gibt's auch nicht auf der Festplatte.

Manual install for Delphi

Start by unpacking the JVCL and JCL zip files into a folder of your own choice. Make sure your zip extractor is set to maintain folder structure or all files will be put into the same folder (not what you want!). We recommend but do not require that the JCL and JVCL folders should be created as siblings, i.e the folder structure looks like this:

Before you can install the JVCL you must first compile the JCL packages. How to do this is documented in the JCL download. If the JCL works as expected, open the JVCL package group file (bpg) for your version of Delphi that is located in the jvcl\packages folder. Select Project - Build All Projects from the Delphi menu. Go get a cup of coffee (this takes a while). After Delphi has compiled all the packages, open the Project Manager (Ctrl+Alt+F11) and right-click each of the packages ending with D?D (where ? is the version number, "5" for Delphi 5, "6" for Delphi 6 etc) and select "Install" from the pop-up menu. Although you can skip installing some of the packages, we still recommend that you install all of them the first time. You can later remove some of them on a project by project basis or permanently if you never use the components in the package and the package isn't required by another installed package.

Habe ich getan. Woran scheitert es?

Das Programm "JVCL 3 Installation" bietet mir übrigens (disabled) an:
-Delphi 6.0 (Pers)
-Delphi 7.0 (STD)

wobei ich weder D6Personal noch D7Standard habe, wohl aber D7Personal und D5Professional - was mir aber nicht zur Auswahl steht.

Ansonsten Windows2000 mit SP4, AMD Athlon 2600+ mit 512 MB.

Hat jemand Ideen oder Vorschläge? Was zickt da so heftig herum?

Das STD und Pers wird in der JVCL als Synonym benutzt, da der Funktionsumfang (=> keine DB) der gleiche ist.

Der JVCL Installer holt sich die Installierten Delphi Versionen aus der Registry. (HKLM\Software\Borland\Delphi bzw. HKCU\Software\Borland\Delphi). Hast du schon mal da nachgeschaut, ob da auch alles in Ordnung ist?
