Also, ich weiß nicht, ob es jetzt funktioniert.
Aber mal eine Frage: wenn du einen Download laufen hast, dann ist doch Aktivität da, oder etwa nicht?
Ansonst ist die beste Möglichkeit, wie bereits gesagt, immer einen Server anpingen oder dauerladen einer Website (TWebBrowser.OnNavigateComplete: WebBrowser1.Navigate('http://www.domain.de'); ).
