Grafikprogramm Gimp und die GPL Lizenz

Hi!

Ich hab eine weitere Frage zu Lizenzen (eine andere Diskussion zur LGPL findet ihr hier).

In diesem Fall geht es um das Programm Gimp (www.gimp.org), das unter der GPL (General Public License) steht.
Die Veränderung oder Einbindung von Gimp in ein Programm interessiert mich nicht.
Ich würde gerne wissen, ob die Grafiken, die ich mit Gimp erstellen kann, auch unter die GPL fallen würden.
Ich habe dazu mal die entsprechende Textpassage aus Abschnitt 0 der GPL herausgesucht:

Den zweiten Satz verstehe ich ab "constitute" nicht mehr.
Der dritte Satz lässt ja leider alles offen, da es vom Programm abhängt. Ich hoffe, mir kann da trotzdem jemand weiterhelfen.

Hintergrund:
Ich bräuchte ein kostenloses/kostengünstiges Programm, mit dem ich einige Grafiken für mein Hobby-Projekt erstellen kann.
Falls meine Anwendung dann nicht allzu übel wird , vertreibe ich sie eventuell für ein kleines Entgelt.

So, Frage schon geklärt.

Das Programm Blender (für 3D-Grafiken) steht ebenfalls unter der GPL.

Und auf dieser Seite hier: http://www.blender3d.org/cms/GPL_for_artists.495.0.html ... findet man Antworten auf die obige Frage. Unter anderem:

Benutzen die Grafiken Gimp? Sind sie von Gimp abgeleitet? Enthalten sie Teile vom Gimp? Ja? Dann müssen auch die Grafiken unter der GPL veröffentlicht werden.

Wäre etwas schlecht, wenn zum Bleistift jedes mit SharpDevelop erzeugte Programm unter die GPL fiele (wobei Corsavy seit kurzer Zeit LGPL lizensiert ist).

Joa, im Nachhinein hätte ich mir die Frage auch sparen können...

Aber lieber sich erkundigen (vielleicht auch doofe Fragen stellen ) und 100% sicher sein, als sich nicht erkundigen und später in Sch*** sitzen.
