You need to give credit to the SynEdit project and tell them where to get the SynEdit
sources. You do not need to make your code open source. The SynEdit project can be used

my program. Is this possible because of the SynEdit-License (MPL - Mozilla
Public License). Do I have to offer my sources or the synedit sources?
