Microsoft hat die neue Longhorn-API, auch schon als WinFX bekannt, in den Teilen Indigo und Avalon als Beta 1 Release Candidate veröffentlicht. Den Download gibts hier.

Sowohl Avalon als auch Indigo basieren auf .NET 2.0 - man sollte die Beta also mit Vorsicht geniessen und nicht auf seinen Produktivsystemen einsetzen. Eine nette Spielwiese bietet das aber auf jeden Fall.
