Eldos und /n software

Hallo zusammen,

ich würde gerne wissen, wie Ihr einen Sachverhalt einschätzt.

Ich besitze eine "single-developer vendor license with lifetime free upgrades Number of developers: 1" Lizenz für die SecureBlackbox/VCL/Client von Eldos und bin mit der Software sehr zufrienden (spielt toll mit den Indys zusammen).
--- Wichtig sind die "lifetime free upgrades", was bisher auch immer geklappt hat.

Nun wurde Eldos von /n software gekauft (https://www.nsoftware.com/company/press/pr084.rst) und eine neue Version 16 ist erschienen - Rest könnt ihr euch denken

Das ist die Antwort des Supportes auf eine Anfrage für einen Lizenzkey v16:

Ich kann das nicht ganz nachvollziehen, wenn eine Firma eine andere kauft (siehe ersten Link oben), müsste sie doch auch in alle Rechte und Pflichten eintreten, oder? Es ist ja scheinbar nicht so, dass /n software nur die Secureblackbox aus Eldos rausgekauft hat (selbst wenn..), sondern Eldos komplett gekauft hat.

Was meint ihr?
