Okay, so I'm trying to figure out what Rad Studio is. The user mentioned that it's a Borland product but now sold
by Embarcadero. Hmm, I remember hearing about Borland before; they were involved in some software development
tools.

Wait, wasn't there a company called Borland that used to make things like Turbo Pascal and maybe other IDEs? Yeah,
I think Turbo C was another one. So Rad Studio must be something related to that. Maybe it's an integrated
development environment (IDE) for programming?

The user also said that after Borland, Embarcadero took over the product. I'm not too familiar with Embarcadero,
but I think they're known for some IDEs as well. They might have acquired Rad Studio from Borland.

I should check what Rad Studio is exactly. Let me see... Oh right, Rad Studio is an IDE that supports multiple
programming languages and platforms. It probably includes tools for cross-platform development because I remember
reading about it supporting Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, etc.

So Borland developed Rad Studio as a powerful tool for building applications across different platforms. Then, at
some point, Embarcadero bought the product line from Borland. That makes sense because companies often acquire
other software products to expand their offerings.

Therefore, Rad Studio is an IDE sold by Embarcadero now, which was originally developed by Borland. It's used for
creating applications across various platforms using different programming languages supported by its components.

Rad Studio is an integrated development environment (IDE) that was initially developed by Borland, a company known
for creating tools like Turbo Pascal and Turbo C. After Borland sold the product line to Embarcadero, it became
known as Rad Studio and is now maintained and marketed by Embarcadero.

Rad Studio supports cross-platform application development, allowing users to create applications for various
platforms including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and more. It offers tools for multiple programming languages,
making it a versatile choice for developers looking to build applications across different environments.

Okay, so I'm trying to figure out this question about RAD Studio. The user mentioned that RAD Studio is a Borland
product and then asked what the RAD Studio sold by Embarcadero is. Hmm, I remember hearing that Borland was
involved in some software development tools back in the day.

I think RAD stands for Rapid Application Development, which makes sense because it's a tool for building
applications quickly. So RAD Studio must be an integrated development environment (IDE) or something similar. Now,
Borland had several products like Delphi and C++ Builder if I recall correctly. Those were popular for Windows
development, especially with Pascal and C++.

Wait, but the question is about Embarcadero selling RAD Studio now. So maybe there was some company transition or
acquisition? I think I remember that Borland sold off some of their tools division to another company a while
back. Let me try to piece this together.

So, Borland Software Corporation had several development tools, including Delphi, C++ Builder, and JBuilder if I'm
not mistaken. These were part of their IDE offerings. Then around the mid-2000s, they started focusing more on
enterprise software and sold off their developer tools division. The buyer was a company called Embarcadero
Technologies.

Embarcadero took over these products and has since continued to develop and support them. So RAD Studio is now
under Embarcadero's umbrella. It probably includes Delphi, which allows developers to create cross-platform
applications using Pascal, and maybe C++ Builder as well for C++ development. They might have added more features
like support for mobile platforms or cloud integrations over the years.

I also think that Embarcadero has kept updating RAD Studio with new versions regularly, adding modern features to
keep it relevant in today's development landscape. So when someone refers to RAD Studio now, they're talking about
the version maintained by Embarcadero, which evolved from Borland's original product.

So putting it all together: RAD Studio was originally a Borland product, part of their development tools suite.
When Borland sold that division to Embarcadero, Embarcadero took over and now sells RAD Studio as one of their
flagship products, continuing its development and support.
</think>

RAD Studio, an integrated development environment (IDE) initially developed by Borland Software Corporation, was
part of their toolset for rapid application development, particularly with Delphi and C++ Builder. In the
mid-2000s, Borland sold their developer tools division to Embarcadero Technologies. Since then, Embarcadero has
continued to develop and support RAD Studio, enhancing it with modern features such as cross-platform capabilities
and mobile support. Today, RAD Studio remains a key product for Embarcadero, widely used for developing
applications across various platforms.
