Welche Version MySQL passt denn zu Delphi?

Hi all,

bin gerade über folgenden Text gestolpert.

Bin jetzt etwas verwirrt. Kann man mit Delphi-SW auf eine 64Bit MySQL DB zugreifen oder nicht.
Oder ist wirklich nur die IDE gemeint, daß die nicht auf MySQL-64-bit zugreifen kann?
