Keine Ahnung von Datenbanken, aber mein erster Versuch wäre so:
qryPicPath.SQL.Text := 'select ''U:\Documents\logos\logo2.jpg''';
Das führende Anführungszeichen beim Pfad muss man auch wieder schließen.
