Die älteren Versionen mußten/konnten noch installiert werden, die neueste benötigt das nicht mehr. In 64-bit-Programmen läßt sich die Komponente nicht wirklich modal anzeigen, denn die aufrufende Form ist dann noch immer bedienbar. In 32-Bit Programmen funktioniert Delhi-Twain dagegen tadellos.
